Manuel Fernando Pruneda

Manuel was born March 21, 1954 in San Angelo to Sammy and Juanita Perez Pruneda. He attended school at St. Mary’s Catholic School, Robert E. Lee Middle school and graduated from Central High School in 1972. He attended Angelo State for 2 years and then attended Houston University. He worked in engineering and electrical wiring for computers and data service for many years, mostly in the Dallas area and in Bradenton, Florida for about 15 years.

Manuel was a loving son, a loving and beautiful person, and was “Pure Gold” to his family and friends. He never met a stranger and would help anyone who needed help of any kind. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends

He was preceded in death by his father, Sammy Pruneda in 1999 and a brother, George Pruneda in 2003.

Manuel is survived by his mother, Juanita Pruneda, and brother, Tito Pruneda and Wilfred Pruneda, all of San Angelo; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Rosary will be recited 7:00 PM Monday, October 26, 2015, at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Ftr. Joey Faylona, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Gilberto G. Perez, Bill Guffy, Javier Galvan, Mencho Dela Rosa, Alex Valles and Gilbert Gomez.
