Marcia Mary Rice

Marcia Mary Rice, age 81, of San Angelo, Texas went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 12, 2022. Marcia was born December 25, 1940, in Gays Mill, Wisconsin to Oliver and Marcia (Adkins) Rice. She attended Patch Grove High School and graduated in the class of 1959.

Marcia was a homemaker who loved and cared for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, and visiting with her friends at Christian Village.

Marcia is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Ivan Rice, LaVaughn Rice, Phoebe Burns, Frederick Rice, Arlen Rice, Allyn Daniels and Helen Lakey. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Vito Prano of Fort Worth, Texas, Teresa Prano of Paris, Texas, John Prano of Rocksprings, Wyoming, Marvin Prano of Sweetwater, Texas, and Marta Turney of San Angelo, Texas, and her sister, Charlotte Marshall of Madison, Wisconsin. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks the staff at Christian Village. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tom Green County Friends of the Library.
