Margie Louise Nelson, 88, of Christoval, Texas, went home to the Lord’s Garden in Heaven on Saturday, October 28, 2017. She was born in Santa Anna, Texas, on September 22, 1929, to James and Annie Nichols. Margie’s happiest days were spent cooking, collecting recipes, and gardening. She was one of the best home cooks of all time. Margie was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Paul Nelson. She is survived by children Harold Nelson and wife Carolyn, Katherine Roberson and husband Bill, Paula Hardegree and husband Mike and grandson Gary Hardegree.
