Margie Stinson-Lammers

Margie Stinson Lammers, 83, of San Angelo, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010. She was born July 10, 1927 to Doris Dunn and A.D. Freeman in Ballinger, TX. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 3, 2010 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Reverend Gordon Moore of Immanuel Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson’s Funeral Home. Margie graduated from San Angelo High School in 1944 and from nursing school in 1973. She married Alton Stinson and then James Lammers. She retired as a nurse from Angelo Community Hospital and was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Margie was preceded in death by her two husbands; Alton Stinson and James Lammers, her parents; A. D. and Doris Freeman and her son, Ronnie Stinson. She is survived by her sister Marye Dell Sherwood and husband George of Thibodaux, LA, son G.L Stinson and wife Linda of San Angelo, daughter Vennie Green and husband Bill of Midland, TX, daughter Renee Hildebrand and husband Gene of Elmedorf TX, step-son Jimmy Lammers and wife Susan of Luling, TX, and step-daughter Pam Horak of Montclair, VA. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Hospice of San Angelo, or the Senior Adult group of Immanuel Baptist Church. Arrangements under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home, San Angelo, TX.
