Maria Lupe Perez

Maria attended grad school where she took nursing classes, then began her career working in a nursing home for Nurses Unlimited as a caregiver. She had a passion for caring for clients.

She will always be remembered for her crocheting, playing pool, cleaning her house and cooking for her children and grandchildren.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Carmen; her siblings, Patty Perez, Francisco Perez and Rene Perez; her son, Larry Chappa, Jr., and daughter, Juanita Chappa.

She is survived by her children, Rosalinda Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Jasmine Rodriguez (Alexis), Bonita Quezada (Jacob), John David Chappa (Jeremy), and Frankie Anthony Chappa; her siblings, Francisco Jr., Lilia Hernandez, Rosa Luna (Elias) and Tony Perez along with 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A rosary for Maria will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 West Beauregard Avenue, San Angelo, Texas. A graveside will occur Friday, May 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, San Angelo, Texas.
