Marianne Louise Marsh, 76, of San Angelo, TX, went to be with her Lord and Savior and entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Marianne was born on August 15, 1946, in Pfarkeirken, Germany, to Albert and Chrisance Melhardt. Having lost her parents at a young age, she was lovingly adopted by Ralph and Louise Gregory and began her journey to the United States. She grew up in Great Falls, Montana and Oregon before making her way to San Angelo, TX.
Marianne attended Lake View High School. She met and then married the "boy next door", Allen Walter on August 28, 1964. From this union, they had a daughter, Teri Dozier. Marianne started a career working for Levi Strauss, where she was a seamstress for 15 years. She later became a Registered In-Home Child Care Provider for 20 yrs. Marianne loved the outdoors. In her younger years, she enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time away in Mason, TX. She was well known amongst her family and friends for her delicious banana nut bread, which she entered and won 1st place several years in a row at the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo. She also loved sewing and crocheting, and made sure she crocheted each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren an afghan as a special keepsake before she passed.
Marianne is survived by her daughter, Teri Dozier, one grandson, Dustin Dozier and wife Shelly, one granddaughter, Kambre Dozier, and their father, Bill Dozier. She enjoyed spending time with her three precious great-granddaughters, Shaine, Rylee and Charlee. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Marianne was preceded in death by her biological parents and adoptive parents. She is now reunited with her beloved furbaby, Brandi, whom she loved and missed dearly.
A visitation for family and friends will be Friday, September 30, 2022 from 6pm-8pm at Johnson's Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 11am.
