Mary I. Trent

Mary I. Trent, 76, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 21, 2013 in San Angelo. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., Monday, June 24, 2013 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.T. Tucker officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Mary was born July 4, 1936 in Edinburgh, Scotland to William and Iza Blair Edgar. In 1963, Mary met the love of her life Norman J. Trent. She followed him to the United States in 1966 where they were married and she became a U.S. Citizen. She traveled with her husband throughout Europe and the Middle East and in November of 1980 they settled in San Angelo, Texas. She worked as a receptionist for Gandy's Dairy for 13 years, and was a lifelong member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She had a great personality that awarded her many friends. Mary was an excellent crafter and she also loved playing her card games and being with her children and grandchildren. She will live on in our hearts forever. Mary was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving family, husband Norman J. Trent, of San Angelo; her daughter, Jane Trent, of San Angelo; her granddaughters, Heather Ray, of San Antonio, Kimberly Ray, of San Antonio and Mary Ray, of San Angelo; her great granddaughters, Danika Aguero, of San Antonio, Siana Aguero, of San Antonio and Jemma Aguero, of San Antonio; her Sister, Irene Brydon, of Edinburgh, Scotland; and her two Brothers, Irvin Edgar, and William Edgar, both of Edinburgh, Scotland.
