Beloved son of Richard Sr. and Carmen Flores of San Angelo; brother, husband, uncle and most of all, father, he will be greatly missed. The warrior that left the rest of us in awe has taken up the battle to help anew.
Relentless volunteer, counselor and friend, his memory will always be strong with those he left behind. Michael was a graduate of the Class of 94 at San Angelo Central High School and went on to have a career with his father's company.
Most amazing of all is how he touched people's lives. Our "Superman" coached, taught, trained and mentored hundreds of kids and people. He was a true inspiration to us all.
Michael is survived by his wife, Teresa; daughters Heaven and Sierena; sons Michael Jr. and Nathan; siblings Richard Jr., Jo, Peter and Jessica, including inlaws Angela, Winston, Scotty and Jarrod; nephews Jeromy, Anthony, Eric, Bubba, Jose, Armando, Gabriel, Peyton and Ryan; nieces Maria, Lauren, Daisy, Ajhani, Selena and his sweetheart, Ju Ju; aunts; uncles; cousins and countless friends; and one sparkling new grandson, Jessie Jr.
When his son was asked what he wanted to say about his Dad, he replied, "I'm glad God gave me my Dad."
Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel.
Service is at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
