Molly Fay Ponder, 78, of Bronte, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 17,, 2021. She was born on September 19, 1942 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to James and Oleta Morgan. Molly married the love of her life, Roy C. Ponder, Jr. on March 5, 1960 and together they shared 3 beautiful children. She worked at DeCoty Coffee Co. for numerous years where she retired as a supervisor.
Molly had a passion for her family and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Ponder; her sons, David Ponder and Britt Ponder, her brothers, James, Leonard, Joe, Dave, and Lester Morgan, as well as her sisters, Linda and Mae.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Katheryn Shaw and husband Philip; her grandchildren, Shelby Adame and husband Richard Z. and Ricky Lovelace; her great grandchild, Jewel Adame, and her brothers, Gene Morgan and Alex Morgan.
A funeral service for Molly will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Russ Frasier of Forgiven Ministries officiating. Interment will follow at Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
