Molly Sue Walcott

Molly Sue Walcott left this earthly life for her heavenly home on Thursday July 7, 2011. Molly was born November 29, 1942 in San Angelo, TX to Raymond & Helen Walcott. Her dear parents preceded her in death. Molly graduated from high school in San Angelo & then married William “Bill” Horeis in 1962. They resided in both Brownwood and San Angelo. Molly is survived by her three children. Paul Horeis and wife Debbie Horeis, Karen Mitchell and Teresa Hall. Molly moved to Alaska in 1998 where she resided until February 2009. At that time, she moved back to San Angelo.

Molly also leaves behind her two brothers, Ronnie Walcott and his wife Phyllis and Charles Walcott. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Hanna, Holly, & Heidi Horeis, Ryan Hall, Jennifer Mitchell and Ashley Thornley. Molly had three great grandchildren, Darrell, Christopher & Logan Thornley. Also, she was loved by many nieces and nephews along with some dear friends. Molly will be missed by all & especially those who knew that she wouldn’t hesitate to get up and dance if there was music playing.

Mass will be held at 2pm Monday July 11th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are with Johnson’s Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Ryan Hall, Mike Walcott, Rowdy Richter, Lucas Richter, Landon Stone, and Weston Walcott. Honorary pallbearer is Nick Richter.

The family would like to recognize The Adult Enrichment Center for their loving care to Molly while she was there & to Senior Care Center and a special thank you to Baptist Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or a charity of your choice.
