She was born April 19, 1979 in San Angelo, the daughter of Stephen and Jeannie Mild. She attended Central High School where she excelled in the first softball team established at Central and was later chosen to represent the school as All-State. She had lived in San Angelo most of her life and was involved in her love of caring for animals. She was a volunteer at Cassie’s Place which was involved in rescued animals and TAD-SAW which is an organization involved in service dogs for veterans. She was a member of the Lutheran church.
She is survived by her parents, Steve and Jeannie Mild of San Angelo, a daughter, Zoe Mild, a brother, Troy Mild and wife Jody of Rhome, Texas, three nephews, Randon, Kaden, and Rilan. Several aunts and uncles also survive including Andy and Linda Mild of Lubbock, Phil and Viv Mild of Washington, and Derrell and Lois Hungerford of Energy.
Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Friday at Calvary Lutheran Church with Pastor Diane Eggemeyer officiating. A celebration of her life will be held at 4 PM at Shenanigans Resturant. The family requests that in her memory, memorials be made to TAD-SAW (www.tadsaw.org) or to the Tom Green County Sherriff’s Department Crisis Intervention Center, 3005 N. Chadbourne, San Angelo.
