Naomi Gail Cox

Naomi Gail Cox, 73, passed on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Graveside services will be conducted by Mike Elkins on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in Barnhart Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of Johnson’s Funeral Home. Gail was born October 10, 1948 to Aubrey and Estelle Cox in Big Lake, Texas. Gail grew up in Barnhart and graduated from Barnhart High School. Gail loved cooking and collecting recipe books & crocheting and was known by all for her kind hearted ways. She leaves behind her little dog, Abbey. Gail was proceeded in death by her parents and sisters Shirley Paine and Joyce Everett. Gail is survived by sister Audrey (Toby) Martin of Barnhart, brother-in-law Billy Paine of Center Point, special niece & nephew Michell and Mitchell Martin of Barnhart as caregivers along with several other nieces & nephews. Honorary pall bearers include Buck Owens, Lee Behrens, David Behrens, Jimmy Baker, Pete Barrera, Rusty Owens and James Guadarrama. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation to Barnhart United Methodist Church, Barnhart Fire Department or a favorite charity of your choice. Worked at the Red Barn in Barnhart with this beautiful lady in late 90's. She will be greatly missed. RIP Gail🙏
