Narciso “Nars” Alvarado Garcia was born March 18,1960 in San Angelo, Texas to Eulojio and Inocencia Garcia. Narciso married Christine Ramirez on June 19, 2006 and combined his beautiful family with hers. Narciso was a lifelong resident of San Angelo, Texas and could have easily been the most caring and heart warming man we’ve ever known. Narciso worked for Reece Albert before finding his great job working for the City of San Angelo Street and Bridge. Narciso knew how to do most anything you could ask him to do but was the greatest at being a devoted son, husband, father, grandpa, brother, friend, fishing buddy and front porch advisor. Narciso’s pleasures were having supper with his wife, visiting his mom, fishing trips, looking for new boats on the internet and watching YouTube fishing videos, taking his grandson’s fishing, talking about time spent with Leon and the family, telling us about Eric’s traveling adventures, watching westerns and war movies with Eric, doing the yard, planting trees and just being the easiest person to have a talk with. Narciso will always be loved and missed by all who knew him and whoever came into contact with him.
Narciso was preceded in death by his father, Eulojio Garcia, and sister, Juanita Ryan.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Garcia; mother, Inocensia Garcia; siblings, Ray Garcia and wife Betty, David Garcia and wife Dora, Martha Garza and husband Eric, and Tony Garcia and wife Cindy; sons, Leon Garcia and wife Erica, Eric Garcia, Joe Mata III and wife Misty, Roger Lopez and wife Lynda, and Jaymes Lopez; grandchildren, Leon Garcia Jr, Jacob Garcia, Roman Jaymes Lopez, Rylee Jo Lopez, Joselynn Evie Mata, and Camila Mireya Mata.
Pallbearers will be Leon Garcia, Eric Garcia, Roger Lopez, Jaymes Lopez, Joe Mata III and Leon Garcia Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roman Jaymes Lopez, Jacob Ryan Garcia, Rylee Jo Lopez, Evie Mata, and Camilia Mireya Mata.
The Garcia, Mata, and Lopez families would like to thank all the family and friends who helped with the bake sale, lunch benefit, donations, or offered thoughts and prayers for Nars and family during his time of need.
