

Patricia Ann "Pat" Rickard, 77, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 with close family by her side. She was born on March 18, 1937 in Harrison, Arkansas to Thomas and Mildred Mullins and moved to San Angelo with her family in 1955.
Pat had two great loves in her life, Elvis Presley and the Dallas Cowboys. She worked as a DJ at her father's radio station and had the opportunity to interview Elvis in 1956 while he was playing a show in San Antonio, TX early in his career. This was one of her greatest memories and one that she would tell everyone about! Also, Pat very rarely missed a Cowboys game and could be found glued to the TV every Sunday dressed in her blue and silver to cheer them on.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ralph Frank (Rick) Rickard whom died in 1996. She is survived by her four children: Kelly Kelley and her husband Ricky, Todd Whittley and his wife Ronda, Kathy Whittley and Cynthia Mundell and Amy Claflin and her husband Johnny. Grandchildren: Erin House and husband Jeramy, Kyla and Kendra Whittley, Alyson, Abbye and Avery Whitehead and Ava Claflin. Great grandchildren: Taylor and Katelan House, and Lily Mascorro. Additionally, Pat’s longtime friends, Syree Rawlings and Betty Robinson.
The family would like to thank the incredible staff at Regency House for their support and friendship for the past 7 years as well as the staff at Shannon Hospital and Gentiva Hospice for the last 6 weeks.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11am in the chapel at Johnson's Funeral Home for family and friends.
