Rudy was born on September 30, 1950 in Mertzon to Victor and Felicita (Hinojosa) Martinez. He was a graduate of McCamey High School.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Rosary service will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday, March 28th in Big Lake at St. Margaret of Cortona. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM on Thursday, March 29th at the church with burial to follow at Glen Rest Cemetery in Big Lake.
Survivors include his wife, Delia Reyes Martinez of Big Lake; mother, Felicita Martinez Puentes of Odessa; brothers, Victor Martinez and wife, Sally of Odessa and Eddie Martinez and wife, Jessie of McCamey along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, brother and sister in laws and friends
Rudy worked with the Texas Department of Transportation for 15 years prior to his retirement. He was a gentleman in the truest sense, he was a very loveable person who enjoyed people and seemed to get along with everyone. He was a good husband to his wife, Delia.
