He also served as an elder at TLC Church for many years. Ray has served others, given faithfully and been an inspiration to many. Ray enjoyed being outside, tending the land and his animals, his garden and was an amazing handyman. He was a loving and devoted husband father and grandfather and we will dearly miss him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Beulah Wagner, and his brothers, Archie, Earl, Odell and Freddie Wagner. He is survived by his wife, Winona Wagner, of San Angelo; 2 Daughters, Janilla Wagner, of San Angelo and Vernona McCrea and her husband Mark, of San Angelo; 2 sons, Orville Wagner and his wife Elva, of Fort Worth, TX, and David Gleaton and his wife Christie, of Odessa, TX; his Grandchildren, Logan, Lexis, Elizabeth and Aubrey; and his two Sisters, Herlie Smith McDonald, of San Angelo and Johnnie Blacklock and her husband Carroll, of San Angelo. Mrs. Winona our prayers are with you. You and Mr. Ray were there for us when I didn't have a lot of family. You became grandparents to all of my five when they needed it most. I love both of you. I thank God for working through you and Mr. Ray.
