RE Haggard

RE Haggard, 84, of San Angelo, Texas passed away September 27, 2013. RE Haggard, son of Robert E.L. Haggard and Ola Mae Watson Haggard grew up in Lamesa, Texas. He is survived by the love of his life and best friend of 64 years Helen Haggard. They were married on January 26, 1949. He is also survived by a daughter Brenda Seaton and husband Ronnie of Brownfield, Texas, daughter Patti Yarbrough and husband Jimmy of San Angelo, Texas, and 3 grandchildren: Matt Seaton of Brownfield, Texas, Kristi Fields and husband Justin of Lubbock, Texas, and Steven Yarbrough and wife Kensie of San Angelo, Texas. He was also blessed with 3 little great-grandchildren, Jace Fields (5), Jameson Fields (2.5), and Sawyer Fields (1).

RE Haggard retired from GTE after 33 years of dedicated service. He was known for his honesty, integrity, and being a faithful, loving husband and father. He also loved watching old westerns, shooting his guns, fiddling with his “stuff” in the garage, and just spending time with his family. RE Haggard, “Daddy”, “Grandaddy,” will be missed, but his time was well spent and he set a great example to live by.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday September 30, 2013 at Grace Temple Baptist Church with burial to follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
