

Regina Marie Bynum, 53, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 16, 2011 in Reno, NV. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., Friday, September 23, 2011 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phil Todd officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Regina was born January 20, 1958 in West Covina, California. She grew up in Calvin, Oklahoma and graduated from Calvin High School. As a young woman she had a passion for animals and loved participating in livestock shows and rodeos up to and including barrel racing. As an adult, her passion allowed her to raise high quality breeding stock and boar goats that she loved showing at livestock shows. Regina always enjoyed showing her animals and developing the right technique for breeding these animals. She also had a career in the Finance Industry and locally worked for Edward Jones Investments. Regina married Jerry Bynum on August 26, 1999 and they shared 12 wonderful years of marriage together. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister and grandmother who devoted herself to her family. Regina was very strong, courageous and outgoing and she always put others above herself. She especially loved helping young children and helping them develop a passion for raising and showing animals and helping them succeed in 4-H and FFA. Regina served as President of the Veribest Ag Boosters Club for 2 years. Regina was an amazing person and we will carry her with us in our hearts forever. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents and one brother. Regina is survived by her loving family, Husband, Jerry Bynum, of San Angelo; her Children, Bryan Wolf, of Pauls Valley, Ok, Brandon McCoy and his wife Darlene, of San Angelo, Kimberly Francis, of Tuscola TX., and Asa Bynum, of Midland, TX; her Grandchildren, Quinton and Haley McCoy and Hunter and Garrett Gill; her brother’s and Sister, Tom Wolf and his wife Denise, of Emory, TX, Deborah Seaton, of Red Oak, TX and Delbert Phillips, of Mesa, AZ; her Mother-in-law, Iva Jo Bynum, of San Angelo; her Step-Mother, Ann Bridges, of Dallas, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews, other family members and many, many good friends. Pallbearers for the service will be Brandon McCoy, Dale Little, Randy Collins, Ryan Barnes, Frank Davis and Tom Thompson. Memorials may be made to the Donation Account for Regina Bynum at San Angelo Federal Credit Union which will benefit numerous young men’s and women’s organizations throughout the Concho Valley.
