Ricardo Martinez Delacruz Sr.

Ricardo Martinez Delacruz Sr., age 90, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. He was born in Carrizo Springs, Texas on February 7, 1933 to Benito and Felicita DeLaCruz. He has resided in San Angelo for the last 36 years with his family. Ricardo enjoyed being outdoors, he spent a lot of time working in his yard and tending his garden. Ricardo was a longtime member of Jerusalem Assembly of God and loved his Lord and Savior. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Maria DeLaCruz. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Veronica Lopez and husband Eddie, Marisela Palacio and husband Arturo, Lee DeLaCruz and wife Pat, Isaac DeLaCruz, Noel DeLaCruz and wife Yoly, Mary Zurita and husband Mario, and Terrie Gutierrez and husband Jose. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Inocencio DeLaCruz and Ramon DeLaCruz as well as multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. A visitation for Ricardo will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 West Beauregard Avenue, San Angelo, Texas. Following the visitation will be a graveside at 2:00 PM at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, 4989 FM 1223, San Angelo, Texas 76905.
