Robert Duke Estrada

Robert (Bobby) Duke Estrada, age 39, of Sonora, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012. He was born on Feb. 14, 1973, to Robert and Lupe Estrada. He graduated from Christoval High School in 1991, and proudly joined the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed by Bryant Electric. On Dec. 19, 1998, he married the love of his life, Melissa Fuentes of Sonora. Together they had two wonderful children, Victor Robert and Isabella Elaine, whom he adored. Robert was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, David Duke; and his paternal grandfather, Tiodoro Estrada. Survivors are his parents, Robert and Lupe Estrada of Knickerbocker; his maternal grandmother, Mary Duke of Knickerbocker; great-grandmother Letha Duke of Big Spring; paternal grandmother Antonia Estrada of San Angelo; his wife, Melissa; son Victor Robert; his baby girl, Isabella; father-in-law and mother-in-law Victor and Yolanda Fuentes of Sonora; sons Kameron, Chris, Brendon of San Angelo; his brother, Richard Estrada; and nephews Aidan and Benjamin of Plano, Texas. Rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in San Angelo with Father David officiating. Burial will follow in Knickerbocker Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Estrada, Manuel Robles, Sam David Hernandez, James Nicholls, Liano Luna and Victor David Fuentes. Bobby was a joy to those that knew him and his smile will be greatly missed by all. He was always willing to help those in need. We love you, Bob, and one day we will see your sweet smile, again.
