Roddy Ray Arnett, 65, of San Angelo, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at his residence. Family visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Johnson's Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Roddy was born Jan. 4, 1947, in Corinth, Miss., to W.C. Arnett and Ollie Faye Hilburn Arnett. Mr. Arnett served in the United States Army and was retired truck driver from Concho Supply. He was preceded in death by a son, Roddy Ray Arnett Jr. Survivors include a son, Bobby Ray Arnett, of Summersville, S.C.; a daughter, Rebecca Thompson of Midland; his mother, Faye Arnett of San Angelo; and five grandchildren.
