Roger Knight

Roger N. “Spikey” Knight passed from this life on August 17, 2011. He was born in San Angelo to Clarence E. and Sidna Knight on August 15, 1940. He was a proud graduate of the last class of San Angelo High School (1958) and a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. He was a CPA and a retired partner of KPMG. He was a Methodist and a veteran. During his many years of public practice he was active in various civic and charitable organizations in Dallas, El Paso and San Angelo. He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Noel. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and is survived by his loving wife, Deborah, his son Steven of Lufkin, his daughter Terri and husband Kevin Michalenko, and grandchildren, Sydney and Megan of Erie, Colorado.

There will be a visitation Friday, August 19, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
