Samuel H. Rodriguez, 69, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. He was born on July 22, 1951 in San Angelo, TX to John Rodriguez and Maria Hernandez. He was preceded in death by his parents John Rodriguez and Maria Hernandez and sister Delia Pedroza. He is survived by his wife Martha Rodriguez of San Angelo; his son Samuel R. Rodriguez and wife Meagan Rodriguez of San Angelo; his daughter Melinda Pedroza and husband Michael Pedroza of San Angelo; son Albert Flores of San Angelo and son John Henry Rodriguez of San Angelo. He was also survived by sisters Sally Price of San Angelo, Ernestine Fleegeal of San Angelo, John Rodriguez of California, Sophia Rodriguez of San Angelo and Juanita Rodriguez of San Angelo as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Sam was a wonderful man with a heart of gold. He was so passionate about his family and loved ones. However first and foremost his love for the Lord was like no other. Sam worked 20 years and retired from the City of San Angelo parks and recreation. He was passionate about his job and was the lead gardener. Sam was the rock of our family and will be deeply missed. A celebration of Sam’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Johnson’s Funeral Home.
