Prayers today as you celebrate the life and home going of your mother. I've been thinking of their visits to Mississippi. It seems like she was always working on a sewing project and, of course, we played Skip Bo.  May you feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit as you journey this new way.

I am very sorry for your loss. Please overcome these difficult times with the hope God has given us thru his word for the near future. John 5: 25-29 gives us an overview of what He has planned for humanity. These verses can bring hope and peace to you and your family.

Katrinka,   I am so sorry to hear about your mother.  She was a wonderful friend to my mother, Polly MacLea, while she was living at Baptist Memorial High Rise.  Sarah was so kind to be with my mother and always check on her when she was ill and later died.  I will always remember how sweet and thoughtful your mother was. Sarah and Fred Howard were great blessings in my life.  He was one of my major professors and she was just a love.  When they left Plainview, I would always visit them and spend time with them in San Angelo.  I had planned to come down for the service tomorrow, but they way the snow is falling, I am afraid I won't make it.  Love and sympathy to all the Howard kids.  Your parents were truly amazing!

Katrinka, I was so blessed to read about your Mother.  May you have strength and grace for the coming days.

The sweetest grandmother in the world was mine! She was patient, kind, calm, and loving! Thank you Lord for the years given to me to spend with my Grandmother! Summers of fun in Plainview, Texas will never be forgotten. Lessons learned are etched into my character forever. A love for Jesus Christ as my savior was a gift passed from my grandmother to my mother to me. Rest in peace and rejoice with Christ Grandmother! I only had one grandmother growing up and could not have asked for a better one than you. My daughter carries on your name because of the pillar if strength and example you set for me. Every living moment with you is cherished!
