Sheri McWilliams

Sheri was born November 22, 1948 to A.R. and Martha Wishert in Rotan, Texas. She was a graduate of Sweetwater High School and attended Angelo State College. While at ASC, Sheri met and married Rickey McWilliams. From their marriage, they had one son, Bart Lee McWilliams. In September of 1985, Sheri went to work for Pool Well Service where she spent 25 years working for the company now known as Nabors Well Service. Sheri's friends all say that everyone who knew her loved her. She was a light in our lives and her continuous fight against cancer proved to us, her strength.

Sheri was preceded in death by her father, A.R. Wishert, and her special friend, Lloyd Schwertner.

Surviving Sheri are her mother, Martha Wishert-Spurgin; her son Bart and his wife, Stacie; and her only grandson, Cole Henry McWilliams. Also surviving Sheri are Rose Green and Helen Hulse, and numerous cousins and friends.

There will be a visitation on Monday, August 30, 2010 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Johnson’s Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 10:00AM in Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Charles Beatty, Robert Braddock, Monte Fisher, Neal Grigg, Ken Michalik and Mike Lister. The family would like to thank Dr. Taylor and staff, Community ICU and Community PCU.
