Sherry Jean Ellis, 76, of River Oaks, TX passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. She was born on February 7, 1947 in San Angelo, TX to Earl W. and Goldia Killian. Sherry married Tom Ellis in 1966 and had 4 children together. She was a proud mom and grandma and had a passion for her family. Sherry will always be remembered for her love of football, card games, country music and storytelling. She was preceded in death by her father Earl Killian, her mother Goldia M. Killian, her brother Jimmy Killian and her son Kenneth G. Ellis. Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters Judy Gray and Toyah Martin; her children Robert W. Ellis, Heather Owen and Tiffany Huvar; her grandchildren Swade S. Owen, Ashley N. Owen and husband Xavier Fiscal and Anthony Keiffer; grandchild-in-law Tiara Hembree and great granddaughter Elena Adeline Fiscal. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. A graveside celebration will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2023 in Mereta Cemetery.
