Teresa Denise Adams, 56, of Fort McKavett, left this world on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at her home, surrounded by loved ones, after a brief battle with cancer. She entered this world on October 13, 1961 in Germany to the late, Lonnie Roy and Ina Blanche Haney Adams. Teresa married Susan Moffatt on May 13, 2015 in Menard and together they spent over 12 years of adventures and good times. Teresa was someone that left a mark on your life and if you were in hers, it was because you were special to her. Teresa was grateful for the trips kayaking, to Luckenbach and wherever she wanted to go in her last days and the time spent with family and friends. She will be missed greatly. Teresa is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Stormy Bartley; and uncle, Michael Haney.
Survivors include her wife and best friend, Susan Moffatt; children, John Dunn and wife, Sunni, and Bryan Dunn; grandchildren, Logan, Skyler, Karson, Kinley, Bryan, Jr., and Bree Dunn; mothers-in-law, Leslie Moffatt and Linda Biden; sisters and brother-in-law, Tambera Stickney, Dana McBride, and Brandt Moffatt; a host of other relatives and friends, including the Joy Family, Buck Haney and wife, Sharon, Keith, Andrea and Casey Bartley, Bucky and Dristy, Aunt Billy, Darrell, Wanda, Tom, Miss Hell, Chris and Lisa, The Old Dunagan Road Bunch, and Fort McKavett friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Due to weather, the celebration of life set for Saturday, September 8, 2018 was canceled. Please check back for updates. Memorials may be made in Teresa’s honor to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at www.stjudes.org or plant a tree in lieu of flowers.
