Theresa Lynn Mitchell

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 14th at First Christian Church with Rev. Ben G. Hubert officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.

Theresa was born September 11, 1960 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Donald Dean and Linda (Lowing) Mitchell. She was a resident of San Angelo since 1974 and worked in the accounting department for Verizon for almost 30 years.

Theresa received a BBA in Accounting, BA in History and a MBA in Business Management all for Angelo State University.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two brothers Bradley Stephen Mitchell of San Angelo and Dennis Alan and Rebecca Mitchell of Colorado Spring, CO.; one sister Dawn Marie and Jose Martinez of San Angelo; nieces and nephews Jennifer Mitchell and Richard of Anchorage, Alaska, Ashley N. and Billy Thornley of White Oak, TX., Monica Eileen Biera and Paul Chavez of San Angelo, Matthew and Jennifer Biera of Lawton, OK., Bekah and Kyle Gray of Jacksonville, N.C., Amanda K. Mitchell of San Angelo and Traverse J. and Fran Mitchell of Fort Bragg, N.C.; numerous great nieces and nephews and god son Chris Chavez.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Biera, T.J. Mitchell, Jose Martinez, Paul Chavez, Chris Chavez, and Kyle Gray.

The family request memorials be made to the American Heart Association., the American Diabetes Association, the Humane Society or a favorite charity.
