Timothy "Tim" Shane Darby

Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 4th at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church with Monsignor Maurice Voity officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Darby, Jennifer Darby, Ruben Parra, Jessie Schulper, Treavor Byrd, Ronnie Bailey and Tim Byrd.

Tim was born March 24, 1961 in Biloxi, Mississippi to James and Elizabeth Darby. He was a carpenter and a gifted crafter of wooden items.

Tim was preceded in death by his grandmother Helen Hasselman in 1988 and his brother Thomas Darby in 1989.

Survivors include his wife Margaret Darby of San Angelo; six children Jennifer Darby of Kansas, Timothy L. Darby of Amarillo, Katrina Byrd and husband Trevor, Kimberly Darby, Ronnie Bailey and wife Kara and Michael Darby and wife Rosa all of San Angelo; mother Elizabeth Darby of San Angelo; father James Darby of Florida; brother Tristum Darby and wife Gloria of Massachusetts; three sisters Teresa Chamberlin and husband David, Kathleen Gemme and husband Norman of Massachusetts, Mary Meads and husband Johnny of Florida, 10 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends

Tim was a beloved son, husband, father PaPa and friend and will be missed by all.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
