Tom Ed Whittenburg, 64 of San Angelo, TX, passed away July 16, 2017. He was born in Fort Stockton, TX on December 15, 1952. Tom Ed graduated from Fort Stockton High School. Tom Ed attended both Sul Ross University and Southwest Texas Junior College. He was married to Janie Whittenburg on April 11, 1992. Tom Ed, had a career in the Petroleum Industry working for both Lobo Energy and Custer Right of way. He had a passion for hunting, guns, bull riding, and his family and friends. He was survived by a son; Dustin Whittenburg,; two daughters, Kara and Morgan Whittenburg, his grandchildren, Hunter Wall, William Roper Wall, Kacey Lee and Addison Lane Tolleson; one sister, Melanie Meyer . Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 29, 2017 at East Hill Cemetery of Fort Stockton. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home of San Angelo, TX.
