Jerry and Leslie, we were so sad to hear of Toni's passing. Dee and I have many happy memories of our two families in San Angelo during the 1970s and early 1980s. Gerald was best man at our wedding in 1970 and we enjoyed living on the same street with you when we moved to San Angelo in 1976. In fact, I often wonder what my job future would have been like had your dad not suggested I apply for a job with GTE. Both your parents were so supportive of us during our move to San Angelo. I am so sorry we got the announcement late and were not able to be there for the funeral. We will pass this information on to Paul and Julia.

I met Tonie our first year in college and she has been a good friend since. I have many good memories of the trips we took over the years. We celebrated our birthdays in February. Once a month we delivered meals and she was the best navigater. She has been such a part of my life for so long and I already miss her. Words can't express how sorry I am for the family.

There was always such a quiet elegance about Aunt Tonie. She is one of the strongest women I know. Life was not always easy for her, but she always handled whatever situation she was put in with strength, and dignity, and grace. I know Tonie loved her family dearly. Her children and her grandchildren were her world. I can't imagine the homecoming and happy reunions that took place when she entered her heavenly home on April 7th. She will be missed by all who loved her. My prayers are with Jerry, Leslie, Kylie, and Holly as they are faced with traveling forward on this journey without her physical presence here on this earth. May those of us who love her and love the Lord find comfort in knowing that in only a little while, we will be reunited with her again. Love you Aunt Tonie!
