Verna E Dunn

Verna was born on APril 28, 1940 in San Angelo, TX to Howard and Vicie Kold where she was a lifelong resident. Verna loved to sing and write songs and poems. She was a non-denominational preacher. She loved to teach God's word to anyone who would listen.

Verna is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kit Kolb and Wesley Kolb; a sister, Glenda Stier; sons, Jerry Dennis, Clifford Dennis; and former spouses, James L. Dennis and Kenneth R Dunn.

Verna is survived by her sons, J.W. Dennis (Carol), Clayton Dunn, Clifton Dunn; one daughter Charlotte Elaine Polen (Jim); grandchildren, Daniel, Shirley, April, Conner, Crystal, Michael, Ashley, Bradley, Shelia, Tressie, Trey, and Daylan; and many great and great great grandchildren. All Verna wanted is for her children and grandchildren is to believe in God and to be saved so that they can all see each other again in heaven.

The family would like to thank Hospice of San Angelo, especially Dr. Linda Hitchcock, Christina, Clarissa, Adrienne, Katy, Pete, Imbok, Marina, June, Amber, Lacy, and Elsa. The family would also like to thank the Doctors and staff at Shannon and the staff at Meadowcreek.
