Victor G Mendoza

Victor Mendoza, age 55, of San Angelo, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012. He was born Jan. 19, 1957, in San Angelo, Texas. Victor was a kind and loving man who would do anything to help anyone with what he had. He is dearly loved by all his family and friends. Victor was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend and loyal fan to the Dallas Cowboys. He always knew how to fill a room with his smile and presence. His laughter brought joy and his kindness took away pain from friends and family. There is so much more to be said but words cannot explain the love we will always have for him. He is survived by his loving wife, Liddia Mendoza; sons Gilbert Torres (Junior), Victor Ray Mendoza, Manuel Mendoza, and Angel Mendoza; daughter Diane Torres and her husband, David Rico; daughters?in-law Scarlett R. Sharp and Jasmine Hernandez; brothers Mike, Freddy, Miguel Jr. and Richard Mendoza; sisters Katie Gonzales, Gracie Zubia, Vivian Martinez, Mary and her husband, Manuel Estrada; sister-in-law Sally and her husband, Raymond Torres; his aunt, Candy Mendoza; his grandchildren, Gilbert Torres (GT), Mercedes Torres (Mamas), Alicia Rico (Ms. Pumpkin), David Rico Jr. (Mr. Pumpkin), Aryanna Mendoza (Princess), Jordan Castaneda and Mayzee Mendoza (Smiley); his father, Miguel C. Mendoza Sr.; cousin Gilbert Garcia; and several close friends, including Eddie Zuniga. The Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel and services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel with burial following in Fairmount Cemetery.
