

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Josh Romo of the Ninth and Main Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
Wade McDonald was born on June 6, 1932 to Ima Oma McDonald and Theodore Henry McDonald in Sanderson, Texas. He had three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Peggy McDonald of San Angelo, Texas. He has one surviving sister, Yvonne Runnels of Odessa, Texas. He has three children, Pamela Marie Clouse of Alpine, Texas, Russell Stephen McDonald of New Braunfels, Texas and Theodore Charley McDonald of Caddo Mills, Texas. He has seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Wade served in the Air Force at March Air Force Base in Riverside, California and moved to Texas when his term of service was up.
Wade was a person that loved animals. He built him and Peggy a fine country home in Blackwell, Texas and this is where they retired. Wade retired as a stockbroker, insurance rep and a teacher at the college in Odessa, teaching advanced insurance business classes.
Wade was a strong man in his belief in God.
