Winifred Leslie Ware

On Friday, March 4th Winifred Leslie Ware left his earthly home to join his wife of 59 years. Winifred was born on August 7, 1934 to Guy Bonapart Ware and Ruth Estelle Perry Ware, in Frankston Texas. He attended Lakeview High School and married his sweetheart Katheryn Wilson. They were married 53 years 7 months and 6 days before her passing in 2006. They had three children. Winifred worked as a pressman in his early years for Newsfoto Publishing. Later in the plastering business for many years with Swain Plastering and then for himself.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 in Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.

Winifred is survived by his son Donald Ware and wife Rosie. Daughters Donna Davis and husband Gary and Monica Bollinger, all of San Angelo. A brother, Garland Ware and wife Jenny of Baytown, a sister, Darlene Carter and husband Harold of Point, a brother-in-law Lewis Wilson and wife Ernestine of San Angelo, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
