Julia A. Hime

Julia Alcorta Hime was born in Macdona, TX on February 4, 1930 to Viviano and Tomasa Rodriguez Alcorta, both of who proceeded her in death. She was number 11 of 12 and the last remaining of all the 12 siblings.

Raised and attend school in Somerset, TX and raised in the Catholic faith.

On November 24, 1956, Julia married Milton Hime and they resided and lived in San Antonio, TX. They had 3 children, 2 sons Milton Hime and William Hime and daughter, Fern Hime VanSickle. Her husband Milton and our father passed away in June 1986. She was also preceded in death by her toddler son, Fernando Cortez and all her brothers and sisters. She is survived by all 3 of her children, her son-in-law Gerald VanSickle, Jr., her grandchildren, Lilli Hime and Gerald VanSickle, III and numerous nieces and nephews.

Julia was a loving and supportive daughter, sister, wife, and mother. She loved all her family and friends, and she too was dearly loved and will be missed.
