

She moved with her family to San Antonio in 1931. She met the love of her life, Norton B. Hargis, at the Chicago Worlds Fair in 1933.
They were married on March 19, 1938. Lee was predeceased by her parents, Addie and Albert Biedenharn, her husband, Norton B. Hargis, her sisters, Bobbie Harper, Kat Anderson, and her brother, Albert Biedenharn, Jr.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Laurie and Tom Fitch, Norton and Libby Hargis, Jane and Clark Boddy and Jeanie and Bob Wehmeyer; her grandchildren, Tammy and Dave Ethington, John and Chrissy Fitch, Jenny Hargis, Tres and Michelle Hargis, Charlie and Jennifer Hargis, Cooper and Elizabeth Boddy, Lee and Hill Morrison, Chris and Sarah Boddy, Bobby Wehmeyer, and Katherine and Charley Hollimon; her twelve great-grandchildren, Amy, Timothy and Evan Ethington; Margaret, Thomas and Benjamin Fitch; Christopher Hargis; Lily and Daisy Boddy; Taylor and Chad Morrison and Jack Hollimon; her lunch bunch relatives, Gene Aubrey Briscoe, Ethel Norton, Lucyle Strange, and Mary Elizabeth Wier and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family thanks the loving care of her caregivers, Maria Hernandez and Connie Pena.
Lee was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, Junior League of San Antonio, Battle of Flowers, Alamo Heights United Methodist Church, San Antonio Country Club, Perennial Garden Club and the Revelers Club.
She treasured her friendships with her Saturday night dinner group. Lee loved each one of us unconditionally, completely and without reservation, and because of her life we have all experienced the loving touch of God.
