Adolfo C. Reyna III

Born July 5, 1970, Adolfo was the only son of his parents and grew into a strong, hardworking man with a heart of gold. He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Whether someone needed a helping hand, something fixed, words of wisdom, or simply someone to turn to during a difficult time, Adolfo was there. His strength, generosity, and willingness to help others made him a trusted source of guidance and support to his family, friends, and community.

To his beloved wife, Elizabeth “Liza” S. Reyna, Adolfo was a loving husband, partner, protector, and companion. Together, they built a beautiful life and family filled with love, adventures, travel, and countless memories. They shared a special love for motorcycles and spent many miles riding side by side. In so many ways, Adolfo and Lisa didn’t just ride motorcycles together—they rode through life together, through every turn, every adventure, and everything in between.

Above all else, Adolfo was a devoted father. As the father of nine children, he was their provider, protector, teacher, problem-solver, and safe place. He taught his children not only through his words but through the example he set every day. They learned strength by watching his strength, courage by watching his courage, and perseverance by watching him face whatever life placed in front of him.

Adolfo worked for many years as a truck driver and took tremendous pride in everything he did. His love for trucks was evident in the beautiful trucks he built, including the unforgettable Black Diamond. Later, his passion for motorcycles became another important part of his life. He believed in taking pride in what was his, something perfectly captured by one of his memorable sayings: “If it don’t shine, it ain’t mine.”

Adolfo loved riding his motorcycles, traveling with Lisa, and working with his hands. He especially loved spending time with his family, whether they were hunting, camping, having BBQs and family get-togethers, or simply enjoying each other’s company. He also had a passion for drag racing and classic cars. He took great pride in his cars and loved cruising in them, showing them off, and sharing that passion with his family and friends.

Whether he was behind the wheel of a classic car, riding one of his motorcycles, gathered around a BBQ, or enjoying the outdoors with his family, Adolfo knew how to enjoy life and make memories with the people he loved most. He believed that if you wanted something, you should figure out how to get it because you only get one life, so you should live it right.

Adolfo was also a deeply cherished grandfather. His grandchildren brought him tremendous joy, and he gave them an abundance of love. The lessons, laughter, strength, and love he shared with them will continue through generations of his family.

Adolfo is preceded in death by his parents, Adolfo L. Reyna Jr. and Lydia Reyna, and his beloved son, Michael S. Reyna.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth S. Reyna; his children, Felicia Reyna (Carlos Balderas), Alexis Reyna (Juan Garcia), Melanie Reyna, Adolfo S. Reyna IV, Esiquiel Reyna (Brenda Gonzales), Myranda Reyna (Jonathan Gonzalez), Fabian Reyna (Justine Maldonado), and Priscilla Reyna; Children he took under his wing as his own, Henry Zepeda, Jennifer Zepeda, and Erica Zepeda; his grandchildren, Amaris, Carlos Jr., Nicolas, Julian, Mason, Amelia, Juan, Julyus, Esmeralda, Vicente, Ariannah, Benito, Michael, Adolfo V, Sofia, Gabriella, Ricardo, Efrain, Evelyn, Elena, Esiquiel, Emily, Emilio, Eleazar, Jonathan, Anthony “Tiger,” Victoria,

Fabian Jr., Amor, Andres, and Alessandra; and his sisters, Soila Juarez (Victor), Ruth Uribe, and Mary Ann Gonzales (Octavio).

Adolfo’s passing leaves a space in the hearts of those who loved him that can never be filled. Yet his legacy will live on through the family he built, the children and grandchildren he loved, the people he helped, the lessons he taught, and the countless memories he created.

Adolfo Reyna will be remembered as a man who worked hard, lived boldly, loved fiercely, gave generously, protected his family, and was always there when someone needed him. His love, strength, laughter, and wisdom will continue to live on through everyone fortunate enough to have known and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 4:00 PM - 12:00 Midnight at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.

On Thursday, September 10, 2026 a Mass of Resurrection will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church with interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
