

Adrian John George II, known affectionately as AJ to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, at the age of 62, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on July 8, 1963, in Bangor, Maine, AJ was a man whose warmth and generosity knew no bounds.
He was preceded in death by his parents Adrian George, and Roberta Fenton, and his loving first wife, Linda Donovan George.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jennifer George, children Adrian George III (Brandy), Christopher George (Analyssa), Benjamin George, and Amelia George, brothers Larry Benbrook, Jay Benbrook, and Mark George, sisters-in-law Stephanie Frost and Melanie Hoyt (Stuart), and former in-laws Sharon Inclan, John Donovan, Bobby Donovan (Linda), James Donovan (Melissa), Lisa Donovan, and Cynthia Faulkner. AJ was also a doting grandfather to Aurora, Derrick, Orion, and Gabriella, who will forever cherish the memory of his playful spirit and the stories he shared.
Throughout his life, AJ was a pillar of strength and a source of unwavering support for his loved ones. His compassionate nature extended beyond his family, touching the lives of everyone he met. AJ's friends and colleagues knew him as a generous man who would go out of his way to help others without expecting anything in return.
The words "loving," "generous," and "kind" were not just descriptors for AJ; they were the principles by which he lived his life. His legacy is one of love and generosity, a testament to the many lives he touched. The absence of his kind-hearted presence will be felt deeply by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
As we say goodbye to AJ, we celebrate a life well-lived and a man well-loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind, a beacon of the love and kindness he so freely gave.
A memorial service will take place at 3:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 24, at Porter Loring Mortuary West.
