Agnes M. Dittmar

Agnes was born in Jersey City, NJ. She began her 40-year nursing career at Holy Name Hospital in New Jersey, then spent the last 19 years as a very passionate Diabetes Educator at Audie Murphy VA Hospital. Agnes was very athletic, a tennis fanatic, but also loved swimming and snow skiing. She was also a lover of the Arts - plays, symphonies, and museums. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her father, Michael Zawatski; 2 brothers, Michael and James; and a sister, Rose Ann. She is survived by a daughter, Robyn A. Mawer of South River, NJ; 2 sons, David R. Dittmar of Jersey City, NJ, and Richard Dittmar of San Antonio; her mother, Caroline Zawatski of San Antonio; a granddaughter, Brianne MacPherson of South River, NJ; 2 brothers, A. Joseph Zawatski of Willoughby Hills, OH, and Emil Zawatski of San Antonio; a sister, Christine Krein of Ohio; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
