Agustin Gonzalez

Agustin Gonzalez, age 85, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on August 21, 1933, in Placedo, TX to parents, Guadalupe and Emilia Gonzalez. Agustin met his wife Maria Concepcion Gonzalez in San Antonio and have been married for over 51 years.

He was a member of Knights of Columbus and in his early years was actively involved in his community and church. Agustin, along with this wife, ran a restaurant business for over 30 years. He enjoyed going to the movies, telling stories, but most of all spending time with his family. He was a man of faith and had a passion for life. And remained humble, positive and brave through his final days. He was preceded in death by, his parents, Guadalupe and Emilia Gonzalez; and his sister, Avelina Gonzalez.

Agustin Gonzalez is survived by his wife Maria Concepcion Gonzalez; his son, Agustin Gonzalez, Jr.; daughters, Maria Luisa Martinez, Imelda Guadalupe Gonzalez, and Elizabeth Gonzalez; Son-in-law, Miguel Martinez; grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Agustin Gonzalez III, Alexandra and Clarissa Martinez, and Tamarah Tucker. Agustin was a loving father, husband, uncle, grandfather, and friend to everyone.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Porter Loring McCullough.
