

Alan Bernard Davis was born to Willie Ruth and Eugene Davis in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, August 6th, 1952. He spent most of his life in San Antonio, Texas, where he passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019.
He was the second oldest of his six other siblings; Eugenia, Monica, Russell, Callie, Mitchell & Mary. Shortly after graduating from Brackenridge High School, Alan valiantly served our beloved country in the United States Air Force. While in the USAF he met Aniceta and married her on March 17, 1972. They have three children, Darryll, Alan II and Jacqueline.
He served 20 years in the military as a Cryptography Instructor at Lackland Air Force Base. Later, he earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio and worked for Intel Corporation for several years.
Alan played the trumpet and loved photography. He was a gun collector and competed as a marksman for sport. He enjoyed real estate investing and watching America's team the Dallas Cowboys. He was a unique soul and will be deeply missed.
Alan joins his father, Eugene, mother, Willie Ruth and brother, Russell Davis in eternity. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Aniceta; son, Alan II (Ernalie) and Jacqueline (Frederick II), and son, Darryll; 6 grandchildren, Dezarae, Caitlyn, & Quinton (Alan & Ernalie); Kennedy, Frederick III, & Theodore (Frederick II & Jacqueline). 1 great-grandchild, Jaelyn (Dezarae). Siblings, Eugenia, Monica, Callie, Mary, Mitchell, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Porter Loring Mortuary.
