Albert Alvarado, born June 30, 1948 in Mathis, Texas was called home to be with the Lord, on November 21, 2014 at the age of 66. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Juanita & Joe V. Melig, parents Mary Katherine & Thomas A. Alvarado and brother Thomas Alvarado Jr. Albert was a U.S. Army Veteran and will be greatly missed by many. He is survived by his loving wife, of 45 years of marriage, Linda A. Alvarado, children; Albert Alvarado Jr., Stephanie A. Cao, Zachariah Alvarado, Tabitha Alvarado, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother Gilbert Alvarado, sisters; Dolores Dominguez, Gloria Dominguez, Cynthia Castillo and Linda Sanchez. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Prayer Service to begin at 6:00 pm that same evening. A procession will depart the funeral home on Monday, December 01, 2014 after an 8:30 am Chapel Service with Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
