Albert B. Amezquita Jr.

Albert was born in San Antonio, TX to Albert B. Sr. and Mary R. Amezquita on 02/22/1940. He went to school and graduated at Southwest Texas University. He married Peggy D’Angelo Amezquita and was step-father to Debra and Kevin. He later met his loving companion Irma Diaz de Leon. and spent his last years with her. He worked as an architect and teacher for Fox Tech and McCollum High Schools. He was a proud veteran of the Army. He Loved God and was interested in promoting the word of the lord to young people thru bible studies and teachings.

Albert is preceded in death by Father Albert B. Amezquita Sr, Mother Mary R. Amezquita and Brother Robert R. Amezquita.

Albert is survived by brother Richard Amezquita Sr., nephews and nieces Cynthia Cartwright, Sharon Amezquita, Richard Amezquita Jr. Shirley Riemann, and Erik Amezquita.

A visitation for Albert will be held Monday, February 17, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218.

A funeral service will occur Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218. A committal service will occur Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
