Albert Mitchell Rogers, 83, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, at Franklin Park Alamo Heights. Born in San Antonio, Texas, he attended Central Catholic High School and earned a PHD in Geophysical Engineering from St. Louis University. He worked for the U.S. Geological Survey in Golden, Colorado, before founding his own firm, GeoRisk Associates.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Rogers, who passed in 2021. He is survived by his daughters, Dr. Laura Rogers and Marina Heartfield; his grandchildren, Randy, Calvin, Noah, and Sarah Heartfield; and his siblings Randall Rogers, Christina O’Neill, Mary McDonnell, Dulci Rao, and Anne Routon.
A graveside service will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 2:00 pm, at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Road, San Antonio, Texas.
