

He was born in Falfurrias, Texas where he met and married the "Love of His Life", Sulema Cantu Aguilar also from Falfurrias, they were married on March 3, 1956. Their love for one another embraced many inseparable years together. Sulema went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2015 and now once again, they are reunited in the Lords kingdom.
He was a very young man when he enlisted in the military - United States Air Force (USAF) and began his military career. During his tenure he was stationed abroad and state-side and after 20 active-duty years he retired his service from the military. He was proud and honored to have served his country.
He had a passion for music and was an avid Conjunto accordion player. He performed at numerous venues and family events, always leaving behind a happiness in those that heard him perform. The memory of his passion for his music and the joy it brought to so many will live-on in each one of us.
Alejandro was predeceased by his parents Manuel Aguilar and Rafaela G. Aguilar; siblings-Encarnacion and Ramiro Aguilar and Endelia Garcia and Evanelia Narvaez. He is survived by his brother Manuel Aguilar Jr. and his sister Eudelia Sanchez.
He was also preceded in death by his son Alden Aguilar and survived by his children Alejandro Aguilar Jr., Alva Gardner, and Aldo Aguilar, and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Alejandro touched the lives of many people.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday, March 17, 2022, beginning with a visitation and Rosary at 10:30a.m., and Mass to begin at 11:00a.m., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church located in Selma, Texas, 16075 N. Evans Rd. Burial services following promptly at Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery.
