Alejandro S. Aguilar

Alejandro S. Aguilar passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his parents Felix M. Aguilar and Susie S. Aguilar and his sister Amalia (Molly) A. King. Alex called both Bandera and Boerne home. He is survived by his children: Carmen Galindo (Valentin), Elizabeth Gonzalez (Joe), Anthony Cervantes (Leslie), Veronica, Taylor, Nicole Mann (Kenny), Stephen Aguilar (April), grandchildren Victoria and Danielle Galindo, Lauren Gonzalez, Catherine Cervantes, Tyler, Christopher, and Haley Mann, Hunter Alexander Aguilar, His companion Stella Taylor, siblings Sister Angela Aguilar CDP and brother Fred S. Aguilar (Raquel), and numerous relatives and friends.

He will be missed for his sense of humor, his Archie Bunker personality and his gregariousness. Alex was a proud Vietnam Era Veteran.

Visitation will begin with the recitation of the Rosary on Thursday, December 22 at 6:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel on Austin Hwy. Services will be on Friday December 23rd at Sunset at 9:00AM followed by interment at Ft. Sam Houston. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Retama Manor West Nursing for their gracious care.
