Alex Ramirez, Sr.

The Beloved Lord called upon Alex Ramirez to join him in heaven July 4, 2007 at the age of 79. Alex was born on February 22, 1928. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. He retired from Weiner News Company after 40 years of dedicated service and gained respect from all his colleagues.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Chris Ramirez. Children; Mary Helen and Husband Mario Garza, Alex Ramirez Jr. and Wife Susan, Irene and Husband Jesse Torres; Grandchildren, Alex Ramirez III, Amanda Ramirez, Amy Ramirez, Jesse Torres Jr., John Joseph Garza, Amber Torres, and Christopher Torres; Great Grandchildren, Ariana Ramirez, Angelina Ramirez, Alyssa Ramirez, Ryan Sandoval, Joseph Castillo, and Noel Castillo. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfonso and Manuela Ramirez, Brother Armando Ramirez and two Great Grandchildren, Alex Ramirez IV, and Isaiah Ramirez.

Alex left school to support his family and became an inspiration to his grandchildren and all those who knew him. Alex was always willing to help out anyone.

Pallbearers: Alex Ramirez III, Jesse Torres Jr., John Joseph Garza, Christopher Torres, Donald Ramirez and Sergio A. Medina. He will be dearly missed.
