Alex was an avid reader and a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. His interest included 50's music and the "Blues". Alex love helping at the church and was a volunteer for political campaigns.
Alex was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Stevens; his sister, Karol Barstow and his pets, Parker and Quigley.
