My most sincere condolences to a terrific Man and Classmate! My memories of him are special and enjoyable. He will be sorely missed, and may God receive him into Heaven and protect his Familia! Freddy Pokrant!

Uncle Al was my God father.  For many years of my life I didn't have a close relationship with him because I lived in another state. When I returned to Texas, and was able to see him more often, he reminded me how important I was to him.  He seemed to take me under his wing because I had lost my father so long ago; his brother, John Barron.  He attended my oldest son's wedding in Illinois to show how much he cared. I just want to express that it made me feel secure that he wanted to be there for me as a father figure.  I see that he was close to all of his children, and grandchildren and showed a lot of love to them as expressed in the many family pictures.  My heartfelt condolences to them.  Rest in Peace Uncle Al and give my love to Dad, Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Josey and Uncle Benny.   Jean
